“Wherever my husband and I lived, I always dreamed of owning a business in the wine and food space,” Michelle Bonds says. “So I was constantly taking notes whenever I visited local wine bars.”

Ms. Bonds’ dream has come true with the opening of Trova, her cozy, stylish wine shop and bar in The Plaza at Preston Center.   

Heading up Trova’s wine program (which includes almost 200 different wines) is former Sachet sommelier Cameron Cronin. 

“We have 20 options by glass, as well as a few standard favorites,” Ms. Bonds explains. “Personally, I like to start with something familiar to be able to orient myself in the process.”

THE STORY

Featuring a carefully curated selection of wines from around the world as well as craft beer, specialty sodas, and a selection of local, artisanal food, Trova is the perfect destination for wine lovers and foodies alike.

A chef-driven menu offers a mix of snacketizers, sandwiches, gourmet cheeses and charcuterie to perfectly accompany your wine selection. 

The in-shop tasting room, which can hold about 10 people, is available for tastings, wine classes, and chef dinners.

Whether you’re in the mood for a glass of bubbly, trying to find that special bottle for a friend, or just wanting to stock your wine cellar, a visit to Trova is a must.
